In the
mid-1970s, marvelous cartoons and caricatures
graced the pages of the Akita Club of America,
Inc. (ACA) Magazine. They'd been created
by gifted artist TSG Hubert N. Coutu, formerly
of Barksdale AFB, LA. I'm delighted to present
some of them here.
The first entry
in this gallery did not actually appear
in the ACA Magazine. Rather, 'Bert' sent
it to me as a 'Thank You' gift for registering
his Akita 'Taisetsu' as AKC Foundation Stock.
He had adopted his Japanese-born Akita while
stationed in Okinawa.
This gallery will
grow over time. Check back frequently for
more additions.
