Teisetsu na Tomo means
"Faithful Friend"/"Constant
Companion"
'Tomo' was our second
Akita. She was very attentive to us—less independent
than 'Teru.' That behavior defined her name. She was
closely related to Akita Tani's Kuroyama (see My Fur
Faces p5). They had the sam dam; Tomo's sire was a son
of Kuroyama's sire.
