My Fur-Face Family

Akita Tani's Teisetsu na Tomo

sire:

Akita Tani's Toyo Koshaku

DOB:

September 17, 1969

dam:

Shinju

Teisetsu na Tomo means
"Faithful Friend"/"Constant Companion"

'Tomo' was our second Akita. She was very attentive to us—less independent than 'Teru.' That behavior defined her name. She was closely related to Akita Tani's Kuroyama (see My Fur Faces p5). They had the sam dam; Tomo's sire was a son of Kuroyama's sire.

Taking a break from Foundation Stock Registration for a quiet moment on the farm in Virginia.

This photo really shows Teru's 39" chest span.
